I can finally show something after another three weeks of modeling Dark Elf Blader armor based on Dead Man concept :D

High poly sculpt is now basically done, after this I will add smaller detail like nut and bolts, slight damage and dents on metal parts. And more will be added later when texturing, I'm already bought this Alphas Pack and have a solid plan to use this, this will help make her armor look like a mix of samurai/knight/elves style.

  • This time we have a full leggings underneath, ready for some footjob in the future ;)

  • Her shoulder cape, I will make it jagged later with alpha mask when texturing, because this square shape is easier to work on and UV unwrap. Also more flexible to make cape variation.

  • Here is where I will place her scabbard set, it is on the opposite side from original concept art. Because I think it make more sense for her draw these blades from this side, right? What do you think of this setup? Pls forgive my crudely drawing :3

I like that asymmetrical design on her arms and belts make an unique personality and  give us a idea how it function in combat, and pump up the coolness of this character too, Dead Man have so many amazing concept art <3

She looks amazing! Like she's obviously super hot. But that Hair. And my god that fucking armor!

I've been waiting eagerly for this! Her costume is looking really great! I love the mixture of styles you've got planned, those alphas look like they will work well. Lost my goddammit mind at the fact you included stirrup stockings, I fucking LOOOOVE those and the design at the top on her thighs is really cool too! (I hope there'll be some decoration there once they're textured!) The costume design has translated very well, I just worry that the metal will look too light and silvery, and not the dark-metallic colour like the concept art. Regarding the scabbard suspension, I'd strongly suggest moving the second belt connection point further down the scabbard. The ones closer to the hilt are reasonably well placed, but if the other connection points are further down they would reduce how much the swords flop around and make it less annoying to wear. Excited for the swords and costume texturing, she's looking fantastic!

Thanks! I will widen the scabbard belt distance. The metal color is just me apply a placeholder metal matcap in Zbrush, when texturing in Substance Painter I will adjust all the color again in HDR lighting :D

think flat heel boots looks more battle ready and strong aggressive than fashionable high heels :D

HIMEROSY

Me too man, but at this point I think I've accepted it's just of Reos' style taste :/ I guess you can argue that a lot of the rest of her costume isn't very battle-practical, so the heels aren't much of an added problem given the rest of it. Still, one day, I hope we will get a female character that doesn't have heels, if at least for the sake of variety ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

that's just my personal taste for women with boots hahaha no hard feelings

HIMEROSY

I'm happy with it in characters like Daemon Girl and High Priestess since they're not really action characters, but I would prefer the more "warrior" type characters to have flat shoes (like Elf Paladin or Dark Elf Blader). But, they're all really nicely designed and sexy, which is the most important thing for these sorts of fantasy character models!

How about eyeglow?I mean, when she prepared for boost slash rate or power? And cape will be nice too.

RyanReos

I will do one, when the time comes, but now it is all high heels ;)

HIMEROSY

I agree giving her optional eyeglow would look cool!
