First part of the next GAIWP people. It has a bit of everything. Shock. Awe. A momentary faceoff. A bit of foot in mouth, Grayfia coming in clutch, and of course, Issei completely screwing up the moment with zero warning.

It's moments like this that make me wish these stories could be illustrated frame by frame. C'mon, 'Better than you' fire capabilities making a phoenix wish he had worn his brown pants, and then the better than you fire in question vs better than you power of destruction clashing. And every moment with presence! Like how Michael described Issei and Ghost using presence as a higher quality art style, it's just BEGGING to be drawn. Surely the black part of the flame isn't Blind Eternity at work and is just Ghost showing Issei how to make fire super OP. I don't remember, and may have to re-read some things, but I'm pretty sure Blind Eternity isn't Ghost's fire. Granted there is little to no knowledge on Blind Eternity, let alone how the boosted gear sub species he has is utilized, but it IS sealed ATM. Good Opener! Surely we don't get cliff cucked this chapter?

His fire is stupidly overpowered as a base, right? I think blind eternity has to do with timespace, or at least time.

Ghost being in Issei upped the Quality of his fire. It's not even close to the Black Flame's tier, but it's much higher than it would be. Um... If normal Issei's base fire would be at around B+ to A rank, GAIWP Issei with Ghost in him is SS rank (but could be trained to SSS+ if he bothered), while Ghost is literally undefined and shits on the standard idea of what EX ranks can do.

Damn curious as to what Blind Eternity actually CAN do though. I assume Issei is unable to use it’s power for as long as Ghost is sealed, so he might not be able to powerhouse several Maou the way he used to. Great start to the chapter either way.
