Comments Update (Patreon)

Hello Waifu Lovers!

Today I shipped an update that allows you to add markdown for comments - including images! Can I talk about how complicated that was? Taking the regular markdown parser and making a WaifuParser out of it, then sanitizing the output HTML for that triple-layer security was rough! 

There are also some hidden quality of life features included, such as removing images after uploading (in case you mess up), a relocated toggle for light\dark theme, new icons from our favorite artist Klaeia, and removal of some extra dependencies.

But wait - you'll notice we have done something extra amazing! All of our image uploads have been relocated from those hideous URL's into new hotness:

We have also added a little checkbox for husbando's so that way when we clean up the data you can go husband-hunting with ease.
