Hello friends,

Thirty-six years ago today, the world lost one of its most prolific and influential song writers. In memory of John Lennon, let's take time this evening to pick through his 1969 classic "Because" off the album Abbey Road. This is a great song for players approaching the intermediate level, as it introduces a wide range of chord positions, while serving as a powerful hand exercise. Master this tune to improve your clarity, dexterity, and picking accuracy. Let's get started!

Hello Mr. Swift; Wow. That sounded amazing. I wonder if you can give me some advice on getting a quality digital recorder so I can do that for myself in my free time as a hobby i want to explore. I sing and play guitar and drums and I would love to do something like that. I would also like to make a song request in the same fashion in a cappella. Can you do 7 Bridges Rd. from the Eagles along with a chord chart and a lesson on how to play it that would be wonderful and I think a lot of your followers would embrace that and would enjoy immensely. Thank you!! Wayne Folia

Nice job! A little history on this one is that it was inspired to John ny Yoko playing Moonlight Sonata on the piano. I believe that John asked her to play the chords backwards and what came of that move inspired this.

Hi Rob, really sorry to hear about the hand but glad it's not going to make you learn "left handed guitar" for good. :-) Thanks for this cool tune, I've loved this goofy song for ever, thank for the lesson! You get better Pal... Buddy
