Hello friends,

Before I getting to my lick of the week today, I wanted to fulfill another request by completing a chord sheet to John Lennon's 1971 classic "Imagine." For this tune, I recommend that you practice the main riff until it's totally committed to muscle memory, as this will allow you to sing the melody with better accuracy. Check back later for my Lick of the Week, a beginner friendly blues lick that sounds super professional!

Hi Rob. It is really nice lesson guitar tutorial for one of the most famous songs in the world. I am a beginner in guitar and living in Korea where the English is unfamiliar language. But I love this song. Thank you so much Rob, and hope you post more world best classic pop songs.

Hey Rob! Can you do a beginner tutorial for Gordon Lightfoot's Sundown or the White Stripes Bound to Pack it Up? Also, are you coming to SF in October? I'd love to take a lesson!

Hey Kathy, some Gordon Lightfoot is way overdue. Please submit that request at: http://swiftlessons.com/Request_a_Song. Sorry, I'll actually be in Paris this October. The promo for my visit to SF is from last year. Good news, my bassist is moving to SF, and I will be visiting often. I'll be sure to make an announcement.
