Hello friends,

In today's guitar lick of the week lesson, I'll demonstrate a very melodic way of navigating through your major scale in key of C. The phrase I'm demonstrating is one I used in The Rivals song "The Island," and is the perfect jazz inspired line to help round out your soloing techniques. I'll begin by breaking down the scale position, before teaching this lick note by note. Let's get started!
