Hey Dave, sorry you're having problems. It's a large file, and it seems that certain browsers have a problem with it. I was not able to download it using Safari, but Google Chrome worked like a charm. I could also be the settings on your browser causing the issue.

Tried it in Explorer and chrome with an invalid file or file not found. I will try on another computer later. Must be me.....

Hey, Rob, the downloaded failed for me too and it showed a long load time at that. I used Google Chrome without success. The other pdf was great though with all the additional info. Love that song.

Hey, Rob, the file was still too big for me to download unless I set up my own dropbox which would be new to me. I suspect that your patrons are looking for access to pdfs to be easy. You're way more tech savvy than I, but that's what makes your lesson a cut above. Good luck figuring all this out. Thanks for all that you do.

I appreciate the chords on the screen as you play, but quite honestly it is much easier to follow on the PDF. IMHO you should save your time and forget about the on-screen chords.

That sounds good to me Milt, honestly it's really time consuming creating onscreen annotations, and if I make a mistake, I have to take the whole vid down and fix it. I'll keep that advice in mind for future videos. Thanks!

Thanks Rob. Is making a PDF like this a lot of work? I honestly think I prefer a stand alone vid and a stand alone pdf. Just my opinion though!

Hey thanks for the feedback, it is a lot of extra work. I think the optimal format is stand alone videos and separate PDFs, with audio samples when necessary. In the future I plan to do ebooks with videos built in, so that’s more of a course format. More and more I’m realizing that I need to focus on getting material out, and not focus on creating unnecessary tools that are time consuming and difficult to create. Thanks for reinforcing that.

Found video on youtube signed up for patreon so i could get pdf but i had to scroll through tons of songs on your patreon to find this cant i just search somehow? i tried searching in patreon box rob swift georgia on my mind and nothing came up, awesome tutorial thanks

Hey Blake, unfortunately Patreon has done a very poor job of making their site searchable. For the time being, you can find my patreon links in my video descriptions on YouTube, which is searchable. Additionally, you can use the tags feature on the Post page as described in my orientation video. Sure, searching is less than great (the YT suggestion is excellent), but there's a very definite upside--while trying to find a particular thing I always--always--stumble across gems I probably would never have realized even existed. Sometimes a surprise is just what you were looking for.
