Hello friends,

Welcome back to Swiftlessons for another Lick of the Week. In today's session I've powered up my Spark amplifier to break down a tasty lick from the mixolydian blues hybrid scale. We'll begin by reviewing how to play this powerful scale pattern in the key of D, before breaking this phrase up into two easy to learn sections. Let's get started!

I’ve gone through so many YouTube guitar tutorial channels for a couple of years now, I’m a beginner/ intermediate level player at most. I’m a late bloomer with the music bug. I started at 29 years old, I’m 31 now. I feel like each lesson is tailored to me specifically dude. It makes so much sense with your way of teaching what is needed to know for each lick/ chord/ rhythm/ etc. I just want to say thank you for being an awesome guitar teacher and dude you’re a very talented guitar player. Great tone and feel with the technical prowess. ✌️✌️✌️

I Love the sound of the blue note when added to the Pentatonic scale & I’ve been searching for a creative way to combine Modes & the Blues Scale. Now i’ve got it. This hybrid is a Great Way to begin. Thanks for an outstanding creative avenue to explore. I Love the Patreon website for good reason!
