Hello friends,

welcome back to Swiftlessons for another mini-rhythm guitar tutorial. In today's session we'll learn to take our 12 bar blues to the next level by implementing jazzy chord shapes and additional changes. Once we've mastered each shape and the structure of this common progression, we'll learn to quickly transpose to other keys. Let's get started!

Hi Robin, thanks for this beautiful progression. Am I right to say that the five chord if the classic blues is replaced by a minor second chord, introduced by a minor second of this chord followed by a dominant chord of it?

Very nice lesson. It would be great to do the exact same progression but with the 1 chord on the A string. It would invert every other chords and we could learn dom7, dom7b9, min7 and m7b5 voicings on a different string. (Hope it makes sense).

Do you have any tips on how to switch between chords ? As a beginner, it can be a little tough.
