Hi Rob I like these mini lessons. Probably cos my old brain can only take in so much information at a time. Question. Would you use A major pentatonic over the 1 chord and A minor pentatonic over the 4 & 5? thanks Gwyn

Smoooth , loved it!

Hi Gwen, I’m obviously not Rob but using the A minor over the IV and V seems to sound great. Experiment and see how you like it.

Hi Rob, this is an absolute must to learn! Thanks a lot!

Hi Rob, this sounds really cool. Can you expand this out into a full 12 blues rhythm in a future lesson?

Hey Rob, the mini lessons are great. I'd like to know more about your right hand technique on the descending double stop. Looks like you're using the pick and a finger to get a clean sound. I'm having trouble with that. Any hints? Thanks.

That’s correct Tim, I’m using hybrid picking between my pick and my middle finger. This is something that is always awkward at first, as it takes time to develop the dexterity to switch back and forth, I’ll try to dream up a lesson that focuses on it.
