My wife’s favorite song! Now I’m going to be a super star, thanks!

Why does the tab have the following progression on the Chorus 2 + 3 E Asus2 E B+11 | E Asus2 E Bsus4, The B+11 is also shown in Verse 4 in place of the Bsus4?

Anonymous

So, it should just be a Bsus4 all the way?

Rob, what guitar brand was Tom’s go-to guitar? Do you know? Is a Taylor good for playing his tunes? I’m playing this exactly as it should be played and yet, something is missing...and I think that that’s got to do with my low end Applause. Time to upgradez

What’s a .gpx file. Strumming pattern won’t open. Google says .gpx is for maps. Why not just pdf?

swiftlessons

Hey Alan, gpx files are for Guitar Pro. The tabs contained in that file are the same as in the PDF, but the program allows you to play midi, adjust bpm etc.

Hi i'm having the same issue, can't open the gpx file and I'm struggling to learn the strumming pattern from the video. Can you post it as a pdf?

swiftlessons

Hey Olivia, do you have guitar pro? The content of that file is the same as the existing pdf, it just allows you to play midi audio against the tab, and adjust tempo among other useful tools.

ahh I see. I was looking for the strumming pattern. Found a breakdown on another video. Thanks!

swiftlessons

Hey Olivia, I carefully broke down the strumming pattern in the video. But you can also look at the provided tab and deduce the strumming pattern - down strokes focus on the lower strings, upstrokes focus on the higher pitched strings. In most cases, downstrokes include the bass strings, where has upstroke avoid them. Make sense?
