Big News - Help Test the New Desktop Search Bar! (Patreon)

Hello friends,

Today is a big day in the evolution of Patreon, as Swiftlessons has been chosen to be one of a handful of pages to beta test the platforms new search bar (desktop version only)! Over the weekend, I ask that you rely on this new tool to locate specific lessons, and report back to this post any issues you encounter. Please include the type of device and browser you were using at the time of the issue. Thanks so much for the help, I hope that you all are as excited for this development as I am. Enjoy your practice!

Works great. One improvement idea is to add a tick box choice to search in headlines only or full text. Then searches like "Boxer" will be found more easily

Thanks Sven, I agree, and I made sure to let Patreon know that’s needed. They’re going to build out the tags option too and allow us to search by multiple tags soon as well. Lots of great developments on the way for 2020.

I'm trying search today, Monday, which is officially past the weekend so maybe testing is over. When I tried the search the field was lightly greyed out and I could not get it to respond to typing in "beatles" or "julia" both of which I know you have lessons. Hitting the enter key after typing my search argument resulted in no action and I didn't see any other way to activate a search. I'm using Chrome on a Macbook laptop with the most current MacOS.

I tried searching with keyword "Major Lead Guitar Tricks - Soloing over Major Keys Guitar Lesson" but not found.

Hey Bach, thanks for reminding me of that lesson. It was made a few years before I started on Patreon, and so I don't have tabs for it. But, I'll put that on my list of things to add to the page this week. Thanks!

Hey David, my guess is that you did not choose the appropriate tier when signing up. I'm not authorized to make changes on your account, please click the icon at the top right and select the "manage my memberships" option. From there you can edit or cancel your pledge, or fix your account by selecting edit under where it says "membership."

thank you for answering my text. I appreciate that. I would like to continue with my membership, but don't know how to straighten out my account. Is there someone who can help. I have called, but no go there. I went to the tab "manage my memberships" option but it says I am not following anyone and have no credit card information. Gee Whiz!! Guess I'm just lucky. The u-tubes are open now. Something happened. Appreciate your help. By the by, love your lessons Rob. Even an "Old Dog" can learn a few new licks. thank you for the time you devote to the axe people out here! David
