Hello friends,

in today's lesson we are continuing to learn essential chords across the fretboard. In this session I'll break down how to perform six voicings of the basic minor harmony (1,m3,5) in the key of Am. Learning chords in a variety of voicings will help you to diversify your rhythm playing, break out of the open position and understand the relationship between chords and scales. Let's get started!

Section #1: What are Minor Chords

Section #2: A Minor Harmony in 6 Voicings

Now that you understand the origins of the minor harmony, let's find those notes (A, C, and E) across the fretboard in useful positions, also known as "voicings." Keep in my that positions of the minor scale overlap with each of the chord shapes shown below:

Great lessons Rob. Could you post the pdf for the minor chords lesson. Also could you look at a tutorial for Elivis” The Wonder of You and The Beatles While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Thanks Michael

Thanks for the heads up Michael, I didn't realize I hadn't added the PDF, I'll attach it now. Hoping to work on While My Guitar Gently Weeps early in the new year.
