Hello friends,
In today’s mini guitar tutorial I’m breaking down how to perform a 12 bar blues progression using easy two-note partials of our A7, D7, and E7 chords. This technique is excellent for beginner rhythm players looking for a low pressure way to jam in every key, and for lead players who like adding chordal elements into their licks and riffs. Let's get started!

12 Bar Blues Progression with Two Note Partials:

In the following example, we've simplified our 1.4.5 (A7, D7, and E7) chords in the Key of A. For each chord we will be targeting the major 3rd and flat 7 notes. The A7 will feature the flat 7 in the bass, while the D7 and E7 chords will feature their major 3rds in the bass.
