Hello friends,

welcome back to Swiftlessons for another lead guitar tutorial. In keeping with our recent study of licks that make use of chord tones, in this session I have broken down a bluesy transition between the 1 and 4 chords in a blues or rock progression. Today's lick will combine notes from the Am blues, and D major scales, while targeting notes found inside the D7 chord shape. Let's get started!
