It looks like it’s not working on the Patreon app on iPhone, but when I log on the site from safari iPhone it works. Must be an issue with the app. Thanks for your response!

The new tab is excellent!

Thanks Pam, glad you like the new layout. It sure is a lot easier on my end and looks much more professional. Of course, everyone will need to learn the basics of musical notation to get the note values and rhythm.

Hi Rob : One question ...Any reason why the words to the song are not on the tab ? Just makes it easier for me from a timing perspective ... Having lots of fun learning this song ...Thank you

swiftlessons

Hey Paul, I'm definitely going to add the lyrics and create a chord sheet. Of course, adding the lyrics will make the tab much longer and more repetitive, but it's good to have both. In this version, I was able to to add repeats to specific sections, making it more useful to a guitar accompanist.

Great ;job Rob. Can you tell me if the notes in parentheses are intended to be played softly - I don't hear them on the record. Thanks.

swiftlessons

Hey Edward, in most cases notes in parentheses are optional. When I slowed down the track, I could hear that some of the notes sounded a bit chunkier than others, as if the finger was striking one or two other strings. These notes aren't essential in creating the melody, but will make the sound fuller if added to the arrangement.

Great tab! Thanks for putting this up! One question about the tab, for the verse, where do you do the hammer-on and pull-off on the D (eg measures 10 and 18 in the PDF tab), I think it's supposed to start on the downbeat of the 4th beat rather than slightly before as written in the tab? (you did also mention in the video that the hammer-ons for the verse start a bit later than in the intro.

Perfect. Like the fact that you won't stop until you have captured all the subtleties to share with us!

Hi ,,,,,any plans for the second half of the song ? Thank you

swiftlessons

Yes, I’m having Stefany Mazor back to do the full tune, but I’ll do a mini tutorial just for you guys to hold you over. Stef is book solid all week.

Thanks for doing this, Rob. Really looking forward to the learning the entire song : )
