Hello friends,

Today I'd like to share a video for the budding lead guitarist in the group. This tutorial from the Swiftlessons archive, now exclusively available here on Patreon, breaks down my tips for bending strings, and how to develop bends that are in pitch. I'm hoping to offer a follow up lesson on this subject that features some practice licks and backing track, so please let me know if you have any questions related to this technique. Let's get started!

This was great, just what I was wanting to practice next. Basic practice licks and backing track would be awesome!

Good lesson. Thanks. I hope you do a follow-up lesson on bending without string noise. When I do exactly the same bends you're doing in this video I get lots of string noise from adjacent strings. As I bend my fingers push into the adjacent strings and on both the bend and the release those strings often make unwanted noise.

Very helpful lesson. Thank you Rob. Ready to tackle Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight and Harrison’s While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

You're the first and only channel I'm using Patreon for. Thanks for your lessons Rob, you explain things just that little more clearly than other teachers online.
