Hello friends,

In response to a great question from your fellow Patron JoAnn, I'm posting an archive lesson that sums up how to perform a key percussive element to rhythm guitar.  In this session I break down the "percussive hit," a technique that emulates the sound of a snare drum, adding dynamics to even the most complex strumming patterns for guitar. Let's get started!

Lessons are great. However, every time I log in I have to go through a verification e-mail which is very frustrating when all I want to do is get to the lesson! I'm so fed up with this I am thinking of quitting my subscription. Can something be done about this log-in requirement?

Rob, Is there a search function for just your lessons? When I try to find one I have to scroll through a year's worth of posts to find it.

Hey Bruce, unfortunately Patreon has not built a useable search bar. I just attended their yearly event called patrecon and had the opportunity to make this request directly. You should use the search feature of YouTube instead. Look for search under the "swiftlessons" channel and you can refine your search using year, words, tags etc.
