It's actually crazy how much of a deeper appreciation I have for Haikyu!! on my second watch-through. The little details, characters' reactions, being able to fully absorb what characters are saying...

I loved it the first-time through but this experience makes it even more special.

This episode always hypes me up for what's about to come. It never fails. Takeda stressing that anyone failing their final exams will also be banned from going to Tokyo does not surprise me at all. I remember when I did high school sports in the U.S., I had to sign a contract that stated I had to maintain a 2.0 Grade Point Average on a 4 point scale (grade C or above). If I ever dipped below that, I would not be able to participate in club activities. So I can emphasize what trauma Takeda was going through. Also, Hinata getting that street cred for knowing the hot 3rd year is just one of the benefits of doing sports at a young age.

Great start for s2.. agree with both of your point about ushiwaka (he came off as rude even when he actually didn't mean it that way lol) also a question, about the "white bar" on the clips. i thought only the YouTube version will have the white bar across the videos, not this tier? 🤔
