I always enjoy watching your videos. I love the way you two respond to each other.The "Kibutsuji-Muzan" as Sara calls it is my favorite. Temari is, as you say, a ball, and it originated from Ke-mari, which was introduced from China 1200 years ago. (ke = kick, mari = ball) Kemari was kicked and played with by male aristocrats and used in rituals. It later developed into a women's game and was played by bouncing it with the hands to the accompaniment of singing. That is Te-mari. (Te = hand). The surface is decorated with threads and cotton in the center, and its beautiful patterns have made it a popular traditional handicraft in recent years. It is also a lucky charm. My English is not proficient, so please forgive me if I am rude.
