Build-A-Gob Workshop Adopt Finals II! (Patreon)
Content
The second workshop has completed, so here are the final pieces!
Both healers, the first is a more clerical oriented type, while the second is more druidic. And unhinged. As before, here are some blurbs about their stories!
Melia was adopted and brought up close to nobility in the heart of the castle city, rubbing elbows with the most prestigious of mages and scholars. This, in turn, instilled within her a great fascination in the subjects of magic, a fascination that eventually focused into an astute interest in the clerical orders of the city. After a long educational career in adjacent fields, and a longer application process to be accepted, as a goblin, into the supreme order of healers within the city, she was granted a position within the church. Due to her status not only as a noble adopted into a family but also as a goblin, she was dealt much scorn and mistrust within the academy. However, after a plague swept over the castle city, condemning it to shut its doors to the outside world, Melia found that her hardy goblin genetics allowed her to work more closely with the afflicted, curing them quicker than her nongoblin cohorts. She was able to learn far more about the plague and, within a few months, her knowledge was used by the church to beat back the plague and reopen the city. This feat granted her a high rank within her circles, but she wasn't satisfied. Understanding there remained much work to be done in the fields of curing and fighting plagues, she set out to the roads, to research and combat the diseases on the forefront of wherever they spread.
Oosa had been exiled. The den had deemed her guilty on numerous, ridiculous charges and had sentenced her to live alone in the swamps of the region. She accepted her sentence and left that night, surviving on her own for a week before she fell onto quite a different path. Literally. One evening, scrounging for food, she consumed a particularly hallucinogenic plant which filled her mind with colorful shapes. She followed where the shapes led, and soon found herself in a field of wilted flowers. Saddened by the sight, she began thinking of ways to bring them back to health. Almost immediately, the hallucinations began to guide her hands, leading her through her rucksack and helping her piece together remedies for the flowers. After all had been tended to, the visions began to wear off, and she found that instead of a field of flowers, she'd stumbled back into her den. The wilted flowers were wounded goblins, barely surviving an attack on their home. Thankful for her help despite their treatment of her, they welcomed Oosa back as their new den healer. Now she just needs to make sure to keep her vision-enhancing plant stock up or else everyone will find out she really has no idea what she's doing.
Both have been sold!
