Cyrus Beard Concept Art (Patreon)

I've begun to go through with giving ol' Cyrus a beard for his appearances in the comic, as I've been drawing him a bit younger than he actually is. I think a beard would help to visually age him a little more, as should adding a few more wrinkles. Here are some concepts for what his beard/facial hair could end up looking like. A few of these are jokes, you'll figure out which ones, I'm sure.

Now that September's here, my plans of spending the month sketching the first 3 dozen pages of the comic are looking a little less possible. My hand isn't exactly in massive-batches-of-pages mode yet, so I'm testing the waters by doing these little full color portrait dumps to see how I fare. Feeling noticeably better, that's for sure, and I'm getting better at knowing when to full stop.

Anyway! Next batch of concepts you'll see on here will probably be for Tyr's first hairstyle and outfit. I know I don't wanna drop him in looking exactly like we all know him, so he's gonna go through a bit of change in the comic to get there.
