It's time for a trip to the stars!

We're thrilled to share with you guys a demo for our next big game "Summer at the Edge of the Universe," a solarpunk story. In this game, Summer Nansen reunites with her three best friends for an intergalactic journey to the edge of existence.

This demo contains (almost) all of the game's first act, up to around the point where the routes split off. We estimate it'll take between one and two hours of playtime. We're looking at releasing the full game in 2025, and will be hard at work on this project until then. Just like with the Please Be Happy demo, we have a link to a feedback survey at the end of the demo, where we'd love to hear what you thought about it. You're welcome to post and share screenshots, but please refrain from streaming or recording any of the demo.

This demo is available to all our $5 Patrons and up, but future demos for Summer and other games will be released to our new $15 demo access Patreon tier and above. We wanted to make this one available to everyone as a way to say thank you, though.

We first announced this demo as part of our Élan Festival 2023 lineup of announcements. If you haven't seen it, be sure to check out the video for all the other cool stuff we unveiled there too.

Update - November 15: We've updated the build of the demo! It now has properly mixed voice acting (with a big update to Curiosity's voice!), some improvements to the final CG, and a few other touch-ups. We're also making it available to select streamers and content creators as well. We consider this version of the demo to be pretty darn close to final quality - there are a couple QoL changes we plan to make, but it's most of the way there. We're really proud of this game and hope you guys will enjoy it too. Please try out the demo and let us know what you think!
