November 2021 Monthly Update (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

We hope you had a good Halloween. I always look forward to the day after it, when Halloween candy goes on clearance sale to make way for Christmas stuff at the grocery store. It's the most wonderful time of the year. In keeping with the spirit of things, we've got a few treats to share today.

-First up, the art progress for PBH has been incredible this month. The backgrounds are all finished, thanks to adi's hard work. There are a ton of wonderful places for Miho to hang out, and they all look super cozy.

Adi also put out two new Patreon wallpapers in October, both featuring Juliet! One is a tender moment between her and Miho, and the other is some wishful thinking from Aspen.

Finally, she's been working on the last few character sprites for the game, including some very special cameos from a previous game that adi worked on, long before Studio Élan existed. Aspen's coworker Lena is also getting some changes to her sprite to make her swan nature more prominent.

-Last week, we released an update to "I Told You So!" our dubiously canon Heart of the Woods spinoff. There's a new episode, plus we've added voice acting to all of the existing episodes! It's still totally free, so please check it out! Right now it's only available on itch.io, but it'll be coming to Steam on November 12th! If you add it to your wishlist, you'll be notified as soon as it's available! Bonus: ITYS is totally free!

-Tomorrow, we're going to be announcing a very special new piece of merchandise. This one is a bit of a dream come true for me personally, and I can't wait to have my own copy. It'll be limited in quantity, but Patrons will get early access and a special discount code. That's all I can say for now - more news tomorrow!

On the subject of merch, we're going to be doing the Ridere reprint run in a couple weeks. Ridere is adi's artbook of birthday art for our characters - the first run we did earlier this year quickly sold out, so we're doing a reprint due to popular demand~ We'll also have a new t-shirt and keychain featuring our mascot Melanie, designed by Cliven!

That just about wraps it up for this month. There's one other thing to mention, which is that right now, I'm choosing between a few different ideas for a new ongoing Patreon story that might end up becoming something more in the future. I have to settle on what I want to do, but hopefully the first chapter can be out this month. I don't wanna say too much just yet, in case it falls through, but I'm pretty stoked for some of the concepts. More on that later.
