Hi everyone,

Hard to believe August has already come to an end. As with the mid-month update, this hasn't been our busiest month, but there's still a few things to talk about.

For Please Be Happy, adi's been continuing to plug away at the backgrounds, and completed 7 (!!!!!) this month alone. In case you missed it, she often streams on our Youtube channel when working on them - check out the Patreon or PBH channels on our Discord server for links. There are still a few more to be done, but she's made a pretty good dent in the list 💪

Other than that, progress on the script keeps chugging along. The soundtrack has been completed, so art and writing continue to be the main focuses until there's more ready to be programmed. Work on the Lock and Key demo is continuing as well, but there's not much we can show right now. That should still be out sometime this year!

Aside from our main projects, we have some cool things in the works. For one, the previously announced voice acting update for First Snow is coming along nicely, and you can expect more news on that in the next couple months. We've also got something spooky coming on Halloween again this year.

Finally, it's been really cool to see that some folks have started receiving their Heart of the Woods Kickstarter rewards! Packages are still being packed and shipped, so if you haven't gotten an update on yours yet, don't worry - it'll be heading out soon. We'll be bringing some neat things to our own webstore soon too, including a restock of adi's popular Ridere artbook. As for the Highway Blossoms anniversary merch and other pre-order items, we're still waiting for our supplier to ship them to us. However, the items are in production and have been for a while, so we're hoping to receive them within the next two weeks.

I think that's just about everything for today. I know we say this a lot, but there's a lot happening that's too early to share or show right now, but we hope you'll look forward to these vaguely defined announcements in the future. We promise it'll be worth the wait!

As always, thanks for the support, and see you next time.
