Hey everyone, and welcome to our last mid-month update of the year. Like many others, I know I'll be glad to see 2020 in the rearview. These past couple weeks haven't been the busiest for us, but like always, stuff's still happening.

The rewrites for the first chapter of Please Be Happy have finally been finished, and minute and adi's started scripting the scenes into the game. She and I have been working really closely together on the story and characters. Since PBH is a slice-of-life game without a ton of action or conflict, we have to work extra hard to make sure the characters' daily lives are fun to read about. It's certainly been a challenge, so we're anxious to hear what everyone thinks once you get a chance to play it. We're actually hoping to have a little sample for you guys soon, but not sure when yet.

Moving down the list, if you haven't seen Rachel's recent Letter from the Director about Lock and Key yet, make sure to give it a read! We're grateful for all the support for this game so far!

Finally, in terms of the Heart of the Woods Kickstarter, things are more or less the same as the last update: merchandise is currently being printed and then shipped to Los Angeles. We still need to get a few items, including the game itself and the collector's boxes, printed. That'll be done here in the US, unlike the other rewards. With the port, we're still unable to share the news we've been hoping to. We're really sorry about that, because we've been talking about it for a few months now, but we're in the very last step - just waiting for our publisher to review and sign a contract, and then we should be able to share.

This year has been a long one, and as always, we're grateful to all of you guys for sticking around. Your support means a ton to us and Patreon is a major part of why we're even able to continue making games. We have a lot of cool stuff planned for 2021 that we can't wait to share with you. Thanks for caring about what we do.

Wishing you all a safe and cozy holiday season, and a happy new year.
