Carida uses her knife to slide the chopped tomato into her pot. “What they didn’t know was that this moment would be recorded in history… the beginning of the Spaghetti Alliance!”

“This is the most commentary I’ve heard for dinner, and I was around after you decided to binge watch all those cooking instructional videos.” 

“Oh hi, Sohee! Oh, gosh, I really wanted to do that MagicMotion channel back then too.” Carida turns to face her roommate, seasoning her sauce appropriately behind her. “I played MnS on my last date. It was really fun! I was a chef called Tealmin!”

“That sounds like an interesting date? All your dates sound very interesting, in fact.” Sohee pulls the TV remote back from Yvonne, their other roommate.

Carida giggles, and gives her a jokingly flat look. “My definition of date has expanded greatly since…” She counts. “Half a year ago? Wow.”

She takes a quick photo of her sauce with her phone and sends it to the MnS group chat. 

Carida prepares spaghetti! +2 to motivation and good vibes for the next 24 hours!

Esther’s reply comes in an instant. Thank you, Carida.

Leah’s typing. Doesn’t the food need to be eaten for the buffs to take place?

Milly sends a series of emotes. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! this is making me sooooo hungry

Natalesca’s typing.

Carida grins and starts typing a response. She’s so glad she’s gotten better with her remote cooking controlling. If you want to claim those buffs, Leah, feel free to visit. I always make extra!

“Sohee, Yvonne, I have a friend coming over for dinner! She’s one of the people of the Magic and Swordplay group.”

Yvonne holds up an ok hand, still trying to wrestle the remote away from Sohee.

“Okay!” Sohee furrows a brow. “I still don’t get why your attunement works on this TV remote, I thought it was for musical instruments!”

Yvonne grins, and changes the channel back to the orchestra music.

Leah enters the dorm to the sound of one of her favourite symphonies. “Hello? ...Carida?”

“Oh, Leah! Come on in, just close the door behind you,” Carida yells from the kitchen. Sohee, who’s right next to her helping ferry the dinner plates to the dinner table, freezes.

Yvonne’s staring at Carida as well. “...Leah?”

Carida covers the pasta pot with one hand and grasps the basil leaves with the other. “Mmhm! She’s really nice.” She ushers them into the kitchen.

“Where should I sit?” Leah’s standing around a little awkwardly at the doorway, and then she notices her roommates. “Hello there, everyone.”

Carida sprinkles the basil leaves onto each plate of pasta. “Anywhere is fine - oh, you can sit here.” She gestures at a seat.

Yvonne’s eyes are darting around frantically. “Hi, uh, I’m Carida’s roommate,” she introduces.

“Yeah, Yvonne, we’re classmates.” Leah smiles at her.

“Oh, I, wasn’t sure if you noticed me…” Yvonne has her head tilted down, and her cheeks are definitely redder than usual.

Carida hears a ding from her phone. Sohee is looking intently at her, telling her with her eyes to check the message. She unlocks her phone screen.

leah’s only the girl that yvie’s had a crush on since entering ca! omg look at her face… poor yvie

Oops. Carida watches them chat - Leah’s patient smile and Yvonne’s red, but smiling face. But maybe it’ll work out. Leah was on Wondr after all!

...Oh! Hm. Well! She should… definitely let Yvonne know that Leah’s on Wondr.

Speaking of… she quickly checks the app to see which new profiles Wondr has matched her with.
