What We're Working On + What to Expect on Patreon (Patreon)

Hey everyone!

This is an update on our updates, so to speak. We've all been taking a bit of rest to destress and celebrate the release of Heart of the Woods, so it's been a little quiet on our end here. Rest assured, we're still hard at work!

For Patreon specifically, we have a few things in the pipeline.

This month, for the NSFW tier, Rachel's been working on a much-requested Tara x Morgan h-scene fic. Additionally minute and I (Josh) have been putting together an 18+ comic about some fairies. Not the same kind of fairies as were in HotW, though. While the 18+ stuff won't be the sole focus of the comic, it'll definitely be one of the main ones. We're going to be aiming to post a couple pages of it a month.

For creative posts, we're still working on Celeste Academy. We also have a few more scenes from "Fairest" that we could share, if you guys were enjoying that. We've been toying with the idea of going back and finishing that game, although we're currently undecided on it.

In terms of technical posts, adi's written one up on the making of the HotW trailer. You also may have noticed in the opening splash screens for HotW, but we changed our logo again (and for the final time!) The current iteration was designed by adi, and we all feel that it really fits our style and aesthetic now. While it won't be posted this month, she has plans to write a technical post on what the design process for that was like.

Now that HotW is out, is there any aspect you'd like us to do a technical post on, to talk about more in-depth? Let us know in the comments (or DM's or something if it's spoilery).

Finally, sneak peeks. To be honest, there's not a whole lot of stuff that we can show for TWA right now. As mentioned before, Namie's been really busy drawing for Type-Moon and Kadokawa for the past several months, but she'll be returning to drawing TWA stuff soon. Once that happens, we should have more to share! We'll also be announcing a new project later this year 👀 There was a bit of a teaser for that in our New Year's Blog post, hint hint.

To end things, here's a drawing of Melanie by Goryo on Twitter. Another goal of ours for this year is to develop Melanie more and really emphasize her role as the Studio Élan mascot.
