Patreon Update (Patreon)

Hello y’all!

I’m in a better spot in my life than I was before, and my mental health is much, much better now. I want to thank you all for the love and support you have shown me during this time—having people that wanted to genuinely invest time and money into my art has been a wonderful, affirming, and an important part of my healing process.

Right now I'm in the “eating the elephant one bite at a time” part of the process—taking a long, hard look at the massive projects I have been putting off, and then making slow progress toward their eventual completion. This means that while rewards and commission continues to be paused, I am now in a place that I can begin working on my commissions and outstanding Patreon art!  I appreciate the trust you have placed in me, and now it’s time I create what is yours.

I’m setting up a new system in Trello with the dual purpose of organizing my outstanding commissions and keeping commissioners updated about my progress.

I have updated Trello with all pending commissions and patron rewards. If you are owed commissions, but do not see your name anywhere on Trello, please reach out to me!

I work on batches of five clients at a time. Once I have finished all five, I will move on to the next batch. Active clients are the far left column.  They will be color-coded and sorted into the appropriate column as the art progresses:

No color: I have not contacted you yet.

Blue: I have reached out but not received a reply. If you are blue and have not heard from me, please follow up with me via a DM on Twitter.

Purple: We are in contact and discussing your commission.

Orange: We have reach an initial agreement about your commission and it is queued to begin.

Yellow: I am actively working on your commission.

Red: Commission is stuck (need changes, problems in communication, etc.)

Green: Illustration is finished! Hurrah!

As you can see, I’ve already begun to work through Batch #1, and I will be reaching out to Batch #2 soon!

Further columns show the next batches. If you do not see your name anywhere in the Trello and are owed commissions, please send me a DM on Twitter.

I will update this board daily, at the end of each work day.

For the time being, my commission and tiers with rewards will continue to be paused. I want to take care of the work that is on my plate before I think about where I will take my Patreon and how I will handle commissioned art in the future. In the meantime, please brace yourself for a steady stream of updates and new art!
