CHARACTERS

Hey just wanted to give you some updates on the dating sim I'm planning to work on! I've haven't gotten to sit down and properly watch an RPG Maker tutorial, but I did do some doodles for one of the characters who's going to stare on it! and that's:

Lucy Rosehorn!

You've probably seen her before, a middle aged but energetic Catrobis who owns a little music shop within their home planet, despite her rock/punk appearance she's into all types of music and she's always more than happy to listen to what people's favorite tastes in music are, even awful ones, although she won't let you know, she doesn't want to be disrespectful.

Aside from her I'm planning to introduce two extra characters for a total of three and hopefully more in the future! Aside from Lucy I'm also working and scripting a new character who I don't have a name for yet but she's going to be a fairly slim ( for their standards) Catrobis in her twenties who has just very recently been fired from her job as a barista who may or may not be just a very tiny bit insane.

For the third I'm still not sure who it will be, I'm leaning towards Kirrlie ( 38), but I'd also really like to work on a third character and keep 38 for a separate spin off, one thing is for sure, they'll probably be the largest of the three by default.

WHAT ARE THE PLANS FOR THE SIM?

There's plenty of things I want to try out but for now I'd like to work on something more basic and then add more content and features as I work on it.

-There will be different ways you can approach them, you can just hang out with them or date them and learn about them and the Catrobis species.

-The dating sim is going to be heavily focused on weight gain and inflation, you want to have a big blob of a Catrobis or a big Catrobis parade balloon? It's all up to you!

-Three Catrobies, Three different default sizes and Three different difficulties for each, some will be easier to feed while others will require some extra food to be satisfied.

-There's Button smashing! Food costs money, you work at a factory and the money you make in there is barely enough to afford your living but HEY! I heard they're accepting night shifts! If you're lacking money you should totally try it out! It's pretty simple, all you do is simply press a button, the more you press it the more money you make! seriously, try it out!

WEIGHT GAIN?

You'll have the chance to invite for something to eat every day you visit them, if you reach the day's goal next time you see them you'll notice they gained some weight, you'll be able to repeat this over and over, but careful, the bigger they get the more difficult it'll be to satisfy and the more expensive it'll be to get enough food for them, if you don't reach the day's goal consecutively they'll start losing some of that weight until they end up back at their original size.

INFLATION?

I'm not entirely sure of how inflation will be applied yet but one thing some people are aware of is that Catrobies are allergic to plenty of weird stuff and what happens when has an allergic reaction? They puff up and turn into a big round cat ball, almost instantly! So who knows, maybe something you feed them could trigger something.

CATROBIS DATING SIM - NICHE EDITION

I was thinking of releasing two versions of the game, a clean version with nothing but weight gain and inflation and a niche version with some extra kinks.

Niche Edition - It'd include some extra optional fetishes like for instance gas, slobbing and popping among others, all optional, only for the people who may be interested in some of those things, I'm still unsure if I'll do this version or not, it all depends on what feedback I'll get.
