Dragon Penis Anatomy (Patreon)

I suppose this is the foreword before I dive into my studies. Since my dragon hosts have so graciously accepted me, I have decided to simply begin my studies here. It will simplify documentation, and I see no point in waiting. Some perhaps will believe me too excited, but if not I then who? Someone must document such important things for future generations. Knowledge is knowledge.
After thorough research, I am now confident in my findings on dragon genitalia, more specifically of the Phaizarn race. (I feel like such a note is useless but I nevertheless will add it. I have no wish to go into a dragon's nest and hope to study their genitals. I shall save such a task for more brave-hearted fools.) It is no surprise to many that the genitalia of Phaizarn has an almost mingling anatomy of both the bipedal and animal form, though not all follow this. Some, such as the felines, canines, and a few aerial creatures, fail to see this distinction. The dragon is not one of those.
The first thing I have noticed is that all dragons, even if their bodies fail to produce the same, have scales lining the area of their genitals. I have since realized that this is more so for protection reasons due to the violent movements that may be incorporated in mating practices. The scales seamlessly run along the skin so that friction is reduced.
A dragon's penis is hidden behind a protective scale covering a single opening. This is called the crevice, though I have heard quite a few call it 'the cave.' I suppose such an observation is understandable. Once the penis becomes aroused, the crevice opens up, allowing the genital to expand. The opening area itself is not actually sensitive and requires a bit of individual pressure for one to manually arouse and call forth the genital.
The penis itself is covered in soft keratin ridges. This area can be found on all dragonkin and their Phaizarn counterparts. It is made of the same keratin as their horns but just a touch softer. These ridges and bumps don't necessarily cause a "hooking" effect but not a knotting one either, which I believed to be. At most, I believe the answer lies in the middle, a mix of the two, perhaps. Unlike in the case of knotting, the penis does not enlarge, causing it to remain situated until ejaculation. Instead, it can easily be slipped out. But perhaps introducing my third observation will help to explain this.
Naked to the eye is an ejaculation tube. Whereas many penises simply have an opening at the end where the semen escapes, the dragon has a tube that will peek out. Upon further study and deduction, I realized the purpose of the ridges. Sensitivity. These ridges are largely sensitive to a certain amount of friction, and once reached, the tube follows and insemination. The process does not take long. The sensitivity even seems to dim after ejaculation, allowing the individual to continue on for a while, as their penis is almost numb afterward.
