Hey, I hope you like it. Took me longer than I'd like to admit. Thanks to my friend Kväck for the coloring, you know who you are :).

Karth isn't as big as on the map but I like the look of it this way. The mountain has been the center in several chapters, at least geography wise so I felt this was in order. I thought about adding little castles or something for the towns and maybe borders for the empires and kingdoms.

Do let me know about any suggestions :).

Map looks dope. So are the elves north west of Riverwatch or to the west? I thought it was mountains to the north, ocean to the east, desert to the south and elves to the west. I remember the Riverwatch being attacked by elves in the beginning for being on the border/alone.

Cool map. One suggestion though - maybe also coloring the sea to the east? Because other bodies of water are colored, it’s a little confusing that the sea is just plain and not colored the same way.

I was wondering why so many rivers ended in lakes. RIvers that do not end in the ocean are pretty rare on earth and I think it's strage that it's different here. Or at least it needs a reason.

Yea, I'll change that when I redo it again :). The placement was pretty much random and I wasn't aware it was that rare for them to end in big lakes. Cheers.

Clearly there are so many lakes because instead of draining into the ocean they drain into the subterranean sections of the world that Ilea will 1 day explore in search for mole people.

The words "Empire of Lys" should probably be larger and go north/south from Ravenhall to Virilya. As it stands the "empire" looks smaller than the surrounding kingdoms

It looks really good, is it hand drawn? I would suggest in your next iteration to use larger font for the names, my blind ass cant read them and pateron being the outstanding website that it is zooming in actually shows a smaller version.

I love the style of the map, but reading over the story with the map as a guide, it really shows you didn't have a solid idea for the layout while you were writing earlier chapters. Some relative directions and distances are VERY different compared to the story. When I read again tomorrow, I'll pull the passages that give the relative directions and link them in a doc. Give some general notes and link it all for you. Should help if you ever want to go back over the story or map to bring them closer in line with each other. Either way, if you want them consistent there's a fair bit of editing and rewriting that would be needed. Thanks for the map and the story <3

I'm not seeing any map image or download here, did Patreon break this?

RhaegarRRL

It loaded for me, maybe there was a bug? I suggest reloading / switching browsers or connecting to the page from a different network if all else fails. Should be publicly available.

Is there going to be a new map now that we know about a bunch of territories that are beyond the edges of this one?

It's nicely done, btw; most authors maps are fairly atrocious. I think it's a nice look for a fantasy map; a bit LOTR-ish but a little more modern and pretty. JRRT was actually a darn good artist, so that's pretty impressive competition (his style wasn't for everyone, but appealed to me a great deal, still does). Looking fwd to v1.1 someday when you're bored and way, way, way ahead on your backlog. ;)
