Hey everyone! <3

As the brainstorm was public, the poll has also been made public. I'm in awe of what everyone has come up with. It was difficult to choose! If you are short on time, reading the character and plot descriptions will give you a good idea of what the audio will contain. I've included the game details for those interested in the amazing world building. 👓

You can vote for more than one character.

[A] Wolf Girl (Knight NPC)

The Wolf Girl was formally brainwashed by one of Apathy’s followers and tried to assassinate you. You snapped her out of it but she fell unconscious. The audio begins with her waking up. She expresses regret about what she did and then she requests to join you. You then head off to the Wolf Kingdom to gain their support in the alliance against Apathy.

Game details:

An RPG in which the hero, the chosen one, must unite the world against an entity known as Apathy. Apathy’s influence robs the emotions of others and makes them catatonic. Apathy’s followers are spreading mistrust and fear across the many kingdoms to prevent them from uniting.

[B] The Reaper, Chiara. Class: Guardian of Reincarnation

The listener has died once again, and stands before the frustrated, yet amused, Reaper. This is not the listener's first visit to her realm of reincarnation; in fact, it seems like they're managing to wind up dead and reborn on a near constant basis. She recounts some of the strange and unique ways the listener has died, and offers her advice.

Game details:

A fantasy RPG. The listener's arrival in this world is foretold by prophecy and they are supposedly gifted with immense power to defend the lands against a tyrannical and powerful villain. Unfortunately, although the listener has been blessed with power, using it is proving to be difficult.

[C] Female Advisor, “Secret Supervisor”

When the listener first got to this world, he simply landed in the middle of nowhere and stumbled upon a military base of one of the factions present in this world. As none of the soldiers could identify the listener as either a soldier or an officer of their own or another faction, they believed him to be either a deserter or a spy. He manages to change their minds by helping them win an important battle, but as they weren’t sure if the listener wasn’t a spy nonetheless, they provided him with a female advisor to help and supervise him. The female advisor comes to the conclusion that the listener is most definitely no spy, and starts to open up a little bit more towards him, eventually confessing her feelings for him.

Game details:

Grand Strategy Game, where “World Domination” is only one thing you can try to achieve, while balancing out things like production, research (arms, canons, tanks, planes, and also things like upgrades for production, technological upgrades and also policies for your faction), troop recruiting, deployment, politics in a simplified way, and finally, leading your troops in battle.

[D] A cute, paranoid, heavily scarred, one armed, PTSD riddled woman fuelled by both fear and hatred. The only person she trusts and shows compassion for is the listener.

The listener and the woman huddle up together to take a breather, after almost making the fatal error of trusting in a very hungry car for transportation.

Game details:

A survival horror game where the planet has been taken over by mimics which have broken out of their mysterious slumber from God knows where. Nothing and nobody can be trusted, whether it be friends, family, animals, the chair you're sitting on, the ground you walk upon, the trees, the buildings... etc. The listener unfortunately arrived a week ago in this nightmare of a game and is totally ready to escape back to the real world with the one and only friend they have made along the way.

[E] Human Barkeeper

The listener walks into a bar, after a long day hunting for his employer. The barkeep and the human exchange pleasantries, and talk about the ongoing conflict between the humans and the elves. As the conversation progresses, the listener is surprised to learn that the barkeep has a lot more in common with him than he first thought...

Game details:

· Historical-fantasy, life-sim.

· The "objective" of the game is to expand your home kingdom by helping its subjects forage, colonize, persuade, invent, and expand their culture throughout the continent of Taureum.

· There are 2 main factions/races that the player can choose to support, with a neutral/wild third party:

Morcran

· Eastern kingdom

· Population is mostly human

· Other races are generally looked down on as second-class citizens

· Slavery of other races is commonplace

· Was originally a colony from Rostaya, a human empire accross the eastern Obscaran Ocean

· The leader of the colonists, the Rostayan House of Morres, seeks to claim independence from their empire with Taureum's resources, and have been doing so for 2 centuries, steadily expanding from the first colony, now the city of Mirruv

Ysteri (elves/"Yst" in Ysteri language)

· Western kingdom

· Want the humans out for invading their "homeland"

· While not as technologically advanced as the Morcran, they have magic, allowing certain members to manipulate the elements

· Generally longer-lived than humans

· During first contact with the humans, Ysteri leaders allowed trade with human settlers, but internal strife and a recent succession crisis lead to a more violent policies toward foreigners and the establishment of sovereign rule, with a newly formed separatist group trying to replace the current leader

Koyetael (beastmen/barbarians/"children of Koya")

· Nomadic tribes of various species spread throughout Taureum

· Species consists of orcs, centaurs, giants, and other "non-humanoid," yet sentient races

· Although each tribe primarily consists of a single species, they all recognize each other as "Koyetael"

· Lifestyle and culture is mostly Spartan: "might makes right," honor-based values

· Mostly hunter-gatherers, but opportunistic tribes will raid either Morcran settlements or Ysteri outposts, sometimes even other Koyetael

· Looked down on by both humans and elves, but they pride themselves on the fact they have survived on Taureum the longest through their strength, which is superior to both humans and the Ysteri. They tend not to get involved in the human-elf conflict unless it benefits them

· Thus, they often work as mercenaries, though theft and raiding is not beneath them
