Tier IV receives:

★ All rewards from Tiers I & II

★ Your choice of 2 origami dragons (Styles 1-5) or 1 origami dragon (Styles A-B) sent to you in the mail at the end of each month.

STYLES 1-5 (option to choose any 2)

STYLES A & B (option to choose 1)

>>Only Papers B1-B19 (thinner paper) is available for styles A & B<<

INFORMATION:

  • The dragons will be posted in card-lined letter envelopes to your country of residence (please see the FAQ section of this post for a list of countries and shipping times).
  • You choose the colour and style of your dragons, and I will make them.
  • The envelope will be addressed to you (or your chosen recipient), with Cadence Origami as the sender. It will be labelled as a "decorated greeting card."
  • Dragons range from approx. 6cm to 9cm in length, depending on the paper.
  • Dragons may exhibit variations and small imperfections due to being handmade. The colour you receive may be slightly different, depending on your monitor settings.
Dragons are mailed out once per month, either at the end of each month, or at the very beginning of the following month.

PAPER

I also have paper that is in solid colours (e.g. all red, all blue) - let me know if you prefer one of those.

FAQ:

Why do the dragons look chunky in your pictures but when I get them in the mail, they are so very...FLAT?

  • It’s because they’re asleep :P. Wake them up by using your fingers to gently pull out their wings and tails. You can also play around with the angles of their legs and the style of their wings, as well as the pointy bits on their heads. In some cases, the wings and legs will be unfolded (but pre-creased) so it sits flat in the envelope. They can easily be folded back out.
  • There may be slight variations in the wings, legs, and tails of each dragon, even if they are the same "style." If you would like these parts to look a certain way, please write it in the form, and I will pre-crease the paper for you so it is easier for you to pop the body parts out into the "look" you want.

How long will it take for them to arrive?

  • International letters are not tracked and can take anywhere between 2-4 weeks, to the list of 'safe sending countries.' The dragons are flying out to you from New Zealand. If you live in a country that frequently experiences postal delays or mail to your area tends to go walkabout due to inspections and unreliable service, please allow extra time.
  • Safe sending countries: U.S.A, Canada, UK, Australia, NZ -- items will generally arrive within the expected time frame. If it has been more than 6 weeks and you still haven't received them, please message me immediately.
  • Europe & East Asia: Can take 3-6 weeks (but may often be much sooner, depending on where you are). (Mail delays: Some parts of Japan, Indonesia). Spain/Portugal/Italy/Greece: very risky or slow. If it has been more than 2 months and you still haven't received them, please message me.
  • Places I won't send to due to items and letters often not arriving, disappearing, or being held by authorities (apologies): India, African Continent (exception: South Africa - can take 2+ months), Russia (major cities are OK), the Middle East, Central & South America (exception: Brazil, but this can take 2+ months).

Do both my dragons have to be the same style?

  • No. You can choose two different styles, if you wish.
  • If you choose either Style A or B, you receive ONE dragon instead of two. Please note that only Papers B1-B19 (thinner paper) is available for these.

Do I have to stay for a whole month at this tier to receive my dragons?

  • No. You can pledge at Tier IV at the beginning of the month, then switch to a lower tier during the course of that month - your Tier IV pledge will still be recorded, and you will continue to have access to all Tier IV rewards until the end of that month. If you unpledge during that month, the dragons will still be sent as long as your initial pledge was successful.

Why dragons?

  • The WorldofCadence mascots are two yin-yang dragons, Rhythm & Rhyme. And because Cadence likes dragons >:)

What's the best way to display them?

  • In Mason jars, or in wide-mouthed glass bottles. They can also be hung up.

How come food keeps disappearing out of my fridge and pantry ever since the dragons arrived?

  • Please don't pledge at this tier if you do not wish to indulge their midnight snacking habits (¬‿¬).

Are they only good for collecting and displaying?

No. You can:

  • Give them interesting names
  • Make them battle each other
  • Stick them to your forehead with tape and call yourself a Dragon Lord, and excitedly scream, "AAAARRRHHHH! A TASTY HUMAN!!" whenever anyone tries to approach you
  • Use them to impress grills
  • Throw them off the roof and watch them fly
  • Eat them (I am not responsible for digestive issues)
  • and anything else you can think of
