What up fam! Hope y'all had a good time bringin in the New Year! Me and Hus were finally able to record some reactions yesterday.  But he hit me up this morning and told me after he left from here, he had a high fever and felt like crap again.  My dawg can't catch a break lately.

Uzumaki just means “spiral” or “whirlpool.” Naruto is named this after the strait of Narutowabishi in the waters around Japan, a passage of water known for churning waters which create whirlpools. This is why the fish cakes in ramen have the spirals on them, it’s why those same fish cakes are called Naruto, and it’s why Naruto eats so much ramen. So “Geto” is saying his supreme art is called Whirlpool or Spiral. Though knowing how much Gege has taken influence from Kishimoto in telling this story, it’s probably not outside the realm of reality to assume it’s some kind of reference to the plucky ninja manga of the same name tbh I really loved Miwa’s Gon moment here, especially on the heels of the HxH references the last couple eps.
