GOOOO JJK is just peak. We Battle Shonen fans are eating good. MAPPA is just killing it. That opening had one of the best composites (the way everything was lit, the use of filters, lense flare, focus blur, etc.) I've ever seen in anime; just unreal how gorgeous it looked. Last time I was so floored by comp-work was with a bunch of new One Piece episodes, which Ishitani worked on - that comp was possibly the best ever since anime gone digital, for me, but this is very close second. MAPPA will make this season a tremendous achievement.

TALK TO EM! That's what I've been saying, MAPPA is out here crushing it. It beyond just being hype or high budget. What they're creating is beautiful art in motion. They on top right now.
