Loved the discussion at the end. I'm with Heatah on this one, Doffy was severly nerfed. To say that Doffy wasn't nerfed would be like saying that everything Law did was useless lol and that certainly isn't the case. You can't play with Luffy though, you need to be at 100% to fight that boy.

I agree Doffy was nerfed, HOWEVER at 100% health for both guys, I believe Luffy still wins. King kong was way too much for Doffy - in the manga there wasn't no struggle when Luffy unleashed King kong. It was an instant KO, that boy got sent to the shadow realm at the speed of light.

Tsuru is low key one of the most slept on heavy hitters. We see Garp and Sengoku in action at various points, even shanks, but Tsuru is more cryptic than even him, they just imply she’s up there with the old heads I feel like when people talk about Luffy vs Doffy they forget to take into account just how unbelievable Doffy’s hands are. It isn’t just that he’s injured or that luffy is strong. Think about what he was doing during that arc. During the fight with luffy alone Doffy is manipulating the bird cage, using parasite string to pinpoint strike people around the kingdom which he must have also been using observation to do, and then manipulating them, healing himself, throwing basic hands, using string string attacks, AND creating string landscapes via his awakening. This is to say nothing of the other things he can do like create string clones and dispatch them to do his bidding elsewhere like fucking naruto, or fly through the air on clouds. Doflamingo has the most unbelievable moveset we’ve ever seen other than luffy, and unlike luffy his multitasking game is also unmatched. Not only did luffy beat Doffy when he was already nerfed, he wasn’t even focusing all of his attention and power on him at once. Moveset silly doesn’t even begin to cover it lol

Yeah, it's like when he was fighting Caesar and the anime made it look like he was struggling when he KO'd Caesar instantly lol same with Doffy. Luffy has excellent hand to hand, if he can touch you, you're in trouble.

Both of you have good points. Gear 4 is monstrously powerful. Doffy really can't take too many of those king Kong guns. That being said law did put in a lot of work. Luffy probably wouldn't have been able to beat doffy with only two rounds of gear 4 had law not weakened him. If Luffy didn't have a stamina issue he would beat doffy up and down the map
