That dream sequence where he beheads the general is sick. I Played it side by side with episode 7 from Season 1 and it's almost perfectly in sync. Mad props to the director and animators for that one.

I wasn’t sure why they were messing with the order of things and putting in that new sequence at the start of this season with Einar’s family, but this ep brought it full circle when he parroted his mother’s “We haven’t lost” philosophy and told Thorfinn to be thankful for what it is he still has like Jimbei in Luffy’s soul Once again Mappa out here killing it, the dream sequence was fire but so were some of the unexpected, understated parts, like thorfinn reaching out and screaming bloody murder, and Einar telling him not to be so spoiled. Both of their VAs are fucking killing the game, too. So far this arc’s adaptation has blown my expectations out of the water, and with each passing ep I only grow more eager to see their rendition of The Dream. Can’t wait for more of these reactions fellas
