Never underestimate people to use silly arguments. I'm venting a minor annoyance with a character. If I read 1000 plus chapters of a series I'm probably passionate about it and have the right to voice my opinion on it. But if you have an opinion that differs there's something wrong with you right?

Astro, it's not that we're saying there's something wrong with hating Usopp, it's just that you're basically going into a party and saying someone in the room sucks and saying they are useless and expecting no one else in the room to respond. Like you can criticize on anything you want but when you do you're opening yourself to counter-criticism and you have to be prepared for that. We're just trying to enjoy a video made by our favorite reactors and pointing out the obvious flaws with Usopp isn't going to make the experience better for anyone.

Usopp's character is tough cause his main goal is to be "a brave warrior of the sea", which means he gotta take so many L's to reach that point lmfao. I get Usopp haters, just not ones that think he's written badly tbh.

It is not like anyone here has anything against another opinion then their own, but when you come out with hate against a character and a total lack of understanding, then yes people will defend the show and the character. Stop acting like all you did was write a little "I dont like this" when what you really did was call it retarded and go on a rant... The anime does this arc and in this case Usopp dirty with its bad pacing. It sux, but that is just how it is :)

What lack of understanding do I have? Not a single person here refuted any points I made. I'm just being told that I am big mad and people don't like hate towards Ussop lmao. And I don't hate Ussop btw. I just hate how he is acting in this arc due to bad writing lol. The fact of the matter is that Ussop has done better than this before even when he was scared shittless and Oda could have protrayed this moment better. I still hold true to everything I said because I haven't received actual arguments to my statements lol.

I agree and that is what I was trying to say. I don't hate Ussop, I just hate how the arc is protraying him and we all know Ussop has done better than this before. I know this is the strongest person Ussop has faced up until this point but wasn't that always the case for him? He has always been the under dog but never acted this helpless before even trying to attempt something. I'm not frustrated because he is scared, I am frustrated he hasn't even attempted something yet.

For all the commenters keep in mind that Usopp is a NORMAL person. Anime fans like to think that if they were in the attack on titan world they would be in the survey corps 1v1'ing Annie. No, you would be a regular civilian screaming and running while rubble flies over your head. If you were in the dragon ball z universe you would not be a Z Fighter. You would be an office worker in one of the cities Cell blows up. If you were in the one piece universe you would not be gum-gum stretching all over the place or holding 3 swords. You would be Usopp. When the chips are down Usopp finds his courage and makes a play. But he just saw Trebol pick up a ship and throw it into a building. Right now every cell in his body is telling him to run for the hills.

There is an issue with your logic and that’s the fact they gave him time to get ready for this. Luffy and his crew decided to go to the new world knowing it was a dangerous place. Why the fuck been a normal person has anything to do with being a coward? Normal person doesn’t equal to act like a bitch. What is annoying is the fact that he knows he will be in these types of situations often so if he is gonna act like this everytime then he should just go back to his hometown.

Yeah I remember when I watched this episode I was so frustrated with Usopp. They got my guy looking real bad right now. It doesn't help that the anime drags out scenes too making it look even worse.
