I'm pretty sure Doffy could have comfortably shrugged off the strongest attacks of the B team combined while fighting Sanji so there wouldn't have been much point to them attacking. In fact they'd have been more likely to hit Sanji probably.

Ehhh, people have differing opinions. The manga did do it way better but I still know some anime onlys who still consider this the best arc. It's not AS bad when it's not week to week. It's still a crazy big point in the story that sets up for so much after this, although really everything in One Piece really is that though.

I think the clouds doflamingo is using are the solid ones like those Skypia is on top of. Maybe the sky path he was talking about was an actual cloud road bw sky islands

I got hella beef w/ TOEI for the way they treat this show, esPECIALLY during this arc. But we got way too much good writing out of Oda from this arc for me to consider it trash. I know they were getting close to the manga but I would've preferred some breaks over the dropped quality. I still enjoy the arc tho.

Are you not gonna call it heat with all the things that happen this arc? I know Toei fucks up several times but still it is an amazing arc. Btw I'm not an anime only i'm caught up to the manga, but when I bingewatched this back in the day i dropped One Piece for a few months, TOEI DID THIS ARC DIRTY AS FUCK i'm glad i continued watching tho

Yeah its mostly haki fire now but armament haki technically generates a lot of friction I guess? Also maybe conq haki air tension makes spontaneous combustion? I wish I was tht deep in Oda lore

Dressrosas a great arc fer sure. Sets up a lot of stuff and is like the last normal onepiece arc before the straw hats pop off Will of D seems a lot like the people who waste time making friends win in the end cause of of their help aye. fire reaction
