People are multifaceted. I think Aki really did genuinely feel like he was doing Denji a solid by running him out. Denji didn't appear to be serious about anything and people like that died in his line of work. Aki just didn't take into account Denji is that guy, Denji is him lmao. You can see Aki really does care about people by the way he spends his off hours with cops and knows their motivations. They're so chummy with him. Besides allat, the cig and spit disrespect was def because of his crush for Makima and feeling like Denji is a random punk that doesn't "deserve" her 💀
