Just to clarify, Vivi and Cobra aren’t considered celestial dragons, since their ancestors decided to stay on Alabasta and not move to Marie Jois and rock with the other 19 families 💯

Same, so you only get granted the 'celestial dragon' status if you reside in Marie Jois...though that does mean that the Cobra family have been the oldest monarchy of this world, isn't it? Since they did not have to elect new kings

Yeah I agree. There are a lot of things the manga does better than the anime, that I wish they didn't change... but it's still fun to see it animated with the music and VAs.
