Started reading the Ippo manga after watching you guys' reactions of the first handful of episodes. It seems like it gets continually better as time goes on and I'm really enjoying the story about 300 chapters in. I don't follow professional boxing much, what's the argument for not banning that sort of weight cutting? Sounds dangerous for the athletes doing it and unfair to the other boxer if you can show up heavier than what you were weighted at..am i missing or misunderstanding something?

No you got it. Its super dangerous and fighters die from cardiac arrest doing it. I guess its like football, we know they are killing themselves but people just want entertainment and its a billion dollar industry🤷‍♂️.
