literally cranking these out omg let's goooooo

joshnojoshua

damn that ending got me hype, the One Piece universe is so vast bro, so many things goin on at once. all these tertiary characters appearing for 3 seconds is enough to get me super excited

ParanoidAndroid17

In the other episode, they said what Caesar Clown used was NOT part of conquerors haki. He’s just manipulating gas/oxygen to make them pass out.

The world just gets bigger and bigger, but Oda still connects everything. Excellent world building.

13:38 Bruh, edit game was strong this episode. Hell, its always fire. What I'm talking about, lol

Happy Kraken

Caesar's got that Roy Mustang action; they do the exact same thing to manipulate explosions.

DANIEL PEEDAH

Yh scariest part about Caesar is the same thing scary about ‘gas’ - most of it is invisible , all he gotta do is cover an area in oxygen or any flammable gas and give it a spark and it’s game over. Wanna knock people out? Cover them in co2 or take away the oxygen, in theory he could beat ace / Akainu, if he wasn’t one of those logia bitches that can’t fight with hands

Nanach

At least Caesar seems to care about the kids hair

God I hate most of these Punk Hazard Episodes. The Pacing is such a drag. And I love One Piece to death. But sadly the Pacing gets worse and worse with some incredible Highs and soooo many lows. Here I really appreciated the superiority of the original (Manga).

Caeser has a SILLY moveset fellas

Big 600. For the next arc feel free to use "One Pace". It's an edited version of one piece with better pacing.

Preet

As much as I'd like that, i vote NO. They gotta experience the entirety of these arcs as first time watchers!

No lie, its been a struggle for me but as long as these guys enjoy it

I agree, One Pace is superior. The "real story" is the manga made by Oda himself not the Toei anime adaptation. Here is an illustration that shows how the pacing falls of a cliff at Dressrosa. The reason the first arcs feel so well paced is because they adapt almost 2 manga chapters per episode now it's almost reverse. So 25 minute episodes for less than a chapter. Thats like 10 pages of content per anime episode. Doesn't make for a very fun watch imo. https://i.redd.it/3nnxbvafg7e91.jpg

That would make the patreon episodes a lot shorter which would be a bummer

You guys work so fast with the editing it's impressive

@Linus Early arcs were paced worse, as early chapters don't even compare in word count to later ones. Later chapters easily double the word count, if not triple it, depending on a chapter. So dialogue heavy chapters which are adapted trounce any "first few arc" episodes in terms of pacing. The reason people think Pre-Time-Skip is better paced because they compare them out of their faulty memory, when they binged them first time through, with week-to-week experience in newer arcs; as well as look at chapter per episode number and do the math. What they don't understand is that the word count is what matters, not the chapters themselves. Thats like saying all books are equal in lenght, without looking at page number and font size on a page. The issue with Dressrosa are particular episodes, especially some action episodes which didn't have much dialogue, as well as production struggles with animation. And few episodes that adapted less than a chapter (which were only few). Later OP has better pacing. Add fantastic filler. I watched the series in anime form 4 times (read it 5 times), last time was a year ago in a binge with my gf, so I can compare all arcs fresh in my mind easily,- and the early stretch was the worst (especially Skypiea). Dressrosa might be the worst in PTS, but not much worse than what we got. We watched 600 episodes, the guys are used to the pacing.
