Finally after this starts one of my favorite arcs, I actually watched along for this arc since I kinda skipped to the end battle when I first watched it. This was also where I stopped watching until I jumped back in and caught up to One Piece.

The only thing I can tell is that you're projecting your own issues with this arc on other people. I watched it, they laughed quite a bit, and they did pretty much the same shit they did during Skypia: Enjoying the ride.

@DatBoyHerbs Same. They have this thing to hype up one specific character and senselessly bash on another, that doesn't make me want to watch anymore. I miss the goat who started it all: Uzumaki Khan.

I've always hated how the anime did this arc lol I know they drug it out on purpose. But a few things that are done better in the manga for those who don't read it: 1.) Shelly was shot with an actual bullet not a net, but Chopper said it just grazed her bone 2.) There were only 3 rounds originally, not 6 3.) Luffy takes back Chopper in the 2nd round as planned, Robin is never "chosen" by the Foxxy pirates 4.) At the end of the 3rd round after Luffy beats Foxxy, he chooses their flag and draws them a new shitty symbol for their sail, and sends them away in shame 5.) Aokiji uses Ice Age and freezes the water so the old nomad and his horse can cross to the different parts of the island easier, not for a bunch of shipwrecked randoms and there is no mole digging grandson
