definitely watch at least movie 2, they enhance a bunch of scenes and add new material. Plus it's not constrained by an anime budget.

Now for a more personal note: I don't know if any of yall could tell but Gurren Lagann is my favorite anime of all time. I watched it at a time in my life where I was very depressed and it almost single-handedly helped me get out of it. I've been so happy yall got a chance to experience it, and that I had a chance to re-experience it all over again with you. Thank you.

I hope you guys take your time with bebop. It's an experience you get only once. Definitely don't want to rush it. I'm probably alone on this but I don't mind 1 episode a week Lol this was a fun show tho no doubt.

I'm all for some one piece. There are plenty of shorter series that are solid gold to fill in the gaps. Does anyone here also feel they'd dig Greater Teacher Onizuka if they got into that?

You know, this anime's full title is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann (TTGL). Many people went through the entire anime wondering "but what does Tengen Toppa mean?"... and then Simon lays it on us in this episode, and your hype meter breaks the limit. Good times, man.

Also it's a bit late to say this, but don't feel like you gotta do One Piece. It's over 1000 episodes, and can probably be extremely exhausting for you to keep up with

I loved that y'all got to experience and enjoy Gurren Lagann! I know there wont be another poll for awhile but I just wanted to put Black Lagoon on your radar. Black Lagoon is wild and should def be experienced just like all the other classics.

I recalled old memory I remember the first time i finished the series I cried for atleast a day, because the ending was so sad. Wow I just remembered that time period had to have been over 10 years ago 😔
