We don't even know yet bro. We haven't been able to get up and record since last Wednesday. But we'll try to upload at least 3 of them a week now that we finished JoJo and YuYu.

Fyi fellas, Japan went through an isolationist policy for 200ish years (1650-1850), which barred any sort of foreign influence/immigration. At some point, the shogun allowed specific countries or trading partners to land at designated ports for commerce. Just a little context for ya'll. Cheers fellas!

Like someone else said Japan was a isolationist country for along time they didnt want forigners or foreign influence. One of the only countries allowed in a few ports in all of japan was the Dutch trading companies. Japan took things to learn about the outside world from them. But they were not allowed to go into Japan. Later countries like Briton and the USA with overwhelming sea power would make Japan sign trading pacts to other countries. Its why to this day japan is known to be a bit "racist" or "xenophobic" even people who lived there their whole life but doesnt look japaness will be treated diffrently but its excused as a cultural thing. Some background because it will come up later. The shogun is basically the ruling government at this time with the emperor being a figure head. Before this there was a time when Christian missionaries came to teach the religion. As it spread the Emperor was worried since he was seen like a god on earth but you have these people learning of Christ. So he banned chritianity after quite a few japanese converted for awhile. You were killed for practicing which lead to a revolt thay was stopped killing many christian japanese. At this time its still illegal and people found to be practicing would be killed. Even today in modern Japan which is almost completely non religious, Christian japanese are treated diffrently. Telling co workers for example after working for years together could get them to think your crazy.

The East India Trading Company was one of the foremost economic forces in the world for hundreds of years. It was them who shipped and sold cornerstones of mercantile empires such as tobacco, sugar, and cotton, all over the globe for hundreds of years, and it was them who were largely responsible for the advent and shipping of slave labor and slaves in the 17th and 18th century. They are one of the most powerful collectives of merchants in the history of the world. Their Dutch branch is what Isaac was the Governor General of
