I just want to write a thank you guys so much for continuing to provide us with entertainment during this pandemic. I hope you and your families are staying safe. No words can properly express how much I appreciate it right now. Don't forget Yusuke is taking over the throne regardless because Raizen is slowly starving himself. And don't forget Kurama was probably suppressing his power in his human form.

The wiki lists Chu, Jin, and the boys after Genkais training as A+ rank but in the manga they're S rank. That's just the yu yu wiki I haven't actually read the manga.

Don't think so I believe sensiuis sacred energy made him on par with S class so Yusuke even being able to trade blows with him had to put him at S class at least

The thing with the huge differences in the power levels between the S class is because the S class just encompasses anyone that Spirit World can't handle and in Demon World they don't use those class distinctions that Spirit World came up with. The manga showed numbers for the kings and second-in-commands but the anime changed those numbers to the stats shown in the last episode. Hokushin is the lowest with a power level of 36000 but he's still S-class so everyone above that is also S-class. In this episode they said that Shachi was still the strongest out of Yomi's guys but he's only a little stronger than Hokushin with a power level of 38000. All the kings have a power level of about 1.5 million with Raizen being the weakest and Mukuro being the strongest. So even here with Yoko's 152000 revealed Yomi is still ten times stronger than him.

The main trio all had reasons as to why they could become S-class; Yusuke had his demon ancestry, Genkai's orb and everything else. Hiei was originally an A-class demon who now mastered the darkness flame + Mukuro's training. Kurama was also A-class and he's been regaining his powers so they all had reasons as to why they could eventually reach S-class. It really doesn't make any sense that Genkai who's C-class trained 6 demons who were also C-class to S-class levels in half a year when even Toguro remained as the strongest fighter in the world for 50 years as a B-class demon.

Genkais only C-class due to losing her orb and the limitations of being human. Toguro had set limits because of his body being artificially made or simply not having anybody at his level to spar with. I think Genkais training regimen just gets better results out of demons than humans. Especially when they have each other to spar with.

The Dark tournament fighters are currently stronger than anyone in Spirit World and anyone in Demon World as far as we know aside from the Three Kings + Yusuke, Hiei and Kurama. Even the elites of each territory like Hokushin, Shachi and Kirin all have power levels of less than 100 000. And they are the best of the best within the S-class and have most likely had more than hundreds of years worth of experience compared to the Dark tournament fighters. It doesn't make sense but in terms of the overall storytelling it's not a really a problem. It doesn't ruin the arc or anything, it's just odd.

I really like Kuramas demon world episodes. Yusuke got 2 episodes, Heie got 2 episodes, then Kurama's 2 episodes really turn up the heat on the plot. I don't really have any bias for the 3 characters but Kurama's 2 episodes do a lot more than Yusuke/Heie's episodes, though I do like all 3. Togashi did a great job with each characters perspective in such little time

Also love that you guys put respect on Togashi's works. During this last arc Togashi was struggling and and I think he really wanted to continue the series in a strong way, due to various circumstances he just had to end it. I'm not really spoiling anything here, but the last 6-7 episodes of this series are mostly the anime staffs creation and they chose not to adapt the last 15 or so chapters of what Togashi wrote for the end of the series. I do think the anime wraps up nicely regardless but it wasn't how Togashi ended the series and I just wanted to inform

I always assumed Hiei was already S class when he destroyed the 500 A Class Demons, since he was down there for 6 months already probably went up to S class. I would say 120,000 is A+ or Bottom S, 150,000+ puts you in Upper S. But i still dont know if Yoko was holding back in that fight, he might be at 200,000+ conserving his energy.

Mukuro talked about A class demons like they were trash, and based on the numbers they gave, Shachi and Hokushin are around 30k, Kirin was 80k, weakened raizen is 1.3 million, homie and mukuro are about 1.5 mil. If we assume that the second strongest in each country was at least S class, then that would put all the 6 fighters in to at least mid S class. And we know kurama was an a class demon, so the 8900 could have been an A class level
