53 and 54 are my favorite pair of episodes for that Roy VS Envy savagery. BTW to clarify you see her flame alchemy tat partially burned in the shower scene from the Ishval backstory episode. Roy gave her some backshots for sure but didn't burn up the entire tattoo so someone could study it the stuff thats leftover and get a drop of flame alchemy sorcery and go wild.

If you look at the shot at the end, the shot of father as he talks about Hohenheim still being Slave #23, it's shot through a glass container, so he's literally still inside a flask.

Riza still had ammo, she never used the revolver. And at the very end, when he puts his hand on the gun, he puts his finger between the hammer and the cylinder. And so many people miss the point of them stopping Mustang, so I'm glad y'all got it in the end. He wasn't killing envy because he needed to die. He was torturing him to death because it made HIM feel good. It wasn't like Lust where he just blasted her over and over. He was letting envy regenerate between hits so that it would feel more pain. Shit was fucked.
