2021-07-29 23:25:04 For 110 episodes HxH was becoming one of my all time favorite animes. But from 111 to the end of the Chimera Ant arc? HxH didn't just become one of my favorite animes, it became my #1 favorite anime & one of my all time favorite shows I've seen in my life. I LOVE this show.

I was thinking that Knov and Meleoron can 1-shot the King with God's Accomplice and Window Opener (Knov's ability that took off that one's ant's head).

Knov's Window Opener ability has nothing to do with cutting and being able to penetrate the King's skin. It engulfs the target with its aura, and it transport that part to another location.

I feel like if Knovs ability was that OP then he would have been much more confident. But he probably has to manually force the Nen portal closed, thus since The King is much more powerful then he could probably keep it open. Knov knows that his abilities are best for scouting and hiding. Not fighting incredibly deadly opponents

2023-06-14 21:55:43 Here's how I see it. Togashi had Knov taken out of the team because his abilities would been too OP, IMO, for the mission. Even if he couldn't get to the King he could of still, like Godspeed said, teamed up with Meleoron & took out the Royal Guards with ease like he did to that one ant when he invaded the Palace. It kind of reminds me why Buu was written out of the Tournament of Power in Super. Both he & Knov just had abilities that were just a little too OP, especially if their working with someone else. In other words: Knov, who IMO would of been the most useful person for the mission at hand, was just too damn scare to go back because he was exposed to Poofs En without protection. If I remember Knov was using Zetsu when was leaving portals behind, correct?

^^My theory is that Pouf's En was even more sinister than Pitou's at that moment in time. This was right after Pouf witnessed his King rip his own arm off for the sake of a human. Emotions greatly affect one's nen so I think that was the main reason his En was so unbearable. I feel this is backed up by Knov's line: "It seems to be full of all kinds of misfortune."
